A real time monitoring control system of a hull sub-assembly welding robot and a control method thereof are provided to save the labor since a robot operator can operate four robots with a button operation. A real time monitoring control system of a hull sub-assembly welding robot comprises: an outside infra unit(1) outputting a control signal of the welding robot; a member recognition or OLP unit(2) for measuring and correcting an object; a robot control unit(3) operating the welding robot; a hub(4) connecting the outside infra unit, the robot control unit, and the member recognition and OLP unit with LAN; and an internet(5) connected to LAN between the member recognition and the OLP unit and the herb.
