A bidirectional slide hinge apparatus for a mobile communication terminal is provided to be selectively slid in both up and down directions through simple configuration. A bidirectional slide hinge apparatus includes a fixing plate(110) and a slide plate(120). A guide long hole(112) penetrates in a width direction vertical to a longitudinal direction of the fixing plate. A slide cam(130) is connected in the slide plate. The slide cam is slid with the slide plate upward or downward. A cam stop piece(140) selectively stops or releases bidirectional sliding of the slide cam according to a contact location to an inner surface of the slide cam. One side of an elastic member is fixed and supported in the cam stop piece. An elastic force is applied to the cam stop piece. The other side of the elastic member is fixed to the slide plate. An elastic force is applied to the slide plate so that the slide plate is slid upward and downward.
