An apparatus and a method for measuring a thickness of a maxillary sinus bone are provided to perform an implant operation stably by measuring the thickness of a maxillary alveolar bone accurately. An apparatus for measuring a maxillary sinus bone includes a probe unit(30), a plurality of electrodes(41,43) and a controller unit(50). The probe unit is inserted into the maxillary alveolar bone(20). The probe unit is insulated except for a tip. The plurality of electrode units electrically connects a part of the human body and the probe unit. The controller unit is connected to a plurality of electrodes. The controller unit determines the conduction between the plurality of electrodes. The probe unit is composed of a node unit(31), an insulating unit, and a length display unit. The node unit is made of the conductive material. The insulating unit is made of the insulating material. The length display unit displays the length of the probe.
