An indentation test system for residual stress evaluation based on FEA solutions is provided to predict minute elastic residual stress by evaluating the residual stress with the coefficient of the Kicks law without the measurement of the size of a dent in case material properties are known. An indentation test system for residual stress evaluation based on FEA solutions comprises: a measure system measuring the signal to the displacement of the indentation load and dent of an indenter; and a materials detection part(220) in which the measurement signal is input from the measure system. In the materials detection part, an algorithm producing the residual stress by the inputted measurement signals is mounted. The residual stress output algorithm comprises: a step for calculating indentation constant without the residual stress; a step for calculating the indentation constant with the residual stress; and a step for calculating biaxial equivalence residual stress.
