SAFETY MECHANISM EMPLOYABLE IN ABRASIVE SUSPENSION JET MACHINE AND ABRASIVE SUSPENSION JET MACHINE

A safety mechanism for an abrasive suspension jet machine is provided to prevent breakage of a pressure reduction valve by removing abrasive remaining in a pressure reduction pipe and the pressure reduction valve. A safety mechanism for an abrasive suspension jet machine comprises a tank(5), high pressure high concentration water(12) and high pressure clean water(13). The high concentration water is stored in the lower portion of the tank and contains abrasive at high concentration. The clean water is stored in the upper portion of the tank and contains no abrasive. A pressure increasing pipe(4) is connected with the upper portion of the tank. A pressure increasing valve(6) is provided at the pressure increasing pipe and an abrasive supply pipe(7) supplies the high concentration water to a nozzle. A pressure reduction pipe(8) is connected with the upper portion of the tank. A pressure reduction valve(9) is provided at the pressure reduction pipe. A pressure reduction mechanism(27) is provided below the pressure reduction valve in the pressure reduction pipe.
