A quality valuation and division method of material data included in a literature are provided to valuate/divide quality of material data by an expert, thereby realizing a systematic valuation process. If a production method of reference data is written on a corresponding literature, validity of the reference data is determined(S104,S106). Revival probability by the third person or another research organization is determined according to an experimental method and process that the reference data suggests(S108). If the reference data does not have consistency about the same material property, the reference data is divided as effective data(S110,112). If the reference data has consistency about the same material property, the reference data is divided as verification data(S111).
