A method and a system for deep sea semisubmersible cage type fish cultivation are provided to avoid the waves by lowering a fish cultivation cage net using a winch installed on the deck when there is a typhoon in the sea, and to safely cultivate fishes by lifting the fish cultivation cage net when the sea is quiet. A method for deep sea semisubmersible cage type fish cultivation comprises installing a deck(10) on an upper end of a circular hollow column(20), forming a machine room(11), a warehouse(12) and a rest place(13) on the deck, mounting a fish cultivation cage frame(40) on an intermediate portion of the circular hollow column, pulling up or down a cable(43) of the fish cultivation cage frame with a winch installed on the deck, connecting a footing(30) to a lower end of the circular hollow column, and installing an anchor(50) on the bottom of the footing such that the anchor is fixed to the seabed. The method further comprises controlling an elevation above the sea to a maximum wave height of the concerned waters or higher, and controlling length of the circular hollow column in the seawater to a depth deeper than a half of the wavelength of the concerned waters.
