MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS PLAYBACK APPARATUS WITH INTERNET PHONE FOR INTERNET CONNECTIVITY AND MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS SERVICE SYSTEM USING IT

A multimedia contents playback using an Internet phone as an Internet access device and a multimedia contents service system using the same are provided to search or select multimedia contents and download/reproduce the corresponding multimedia contents. When a server connection request is generated, a controller(144) connects to a multimedia contents server via a wireless LAN phone through a serial communications unit(146) and then downloads/reproduces the corresponding multimedia contents in real time according to the service selection. A display unit(143) displays image data of the currently reproduced multimedia contents in a screen.
