SECURITY SYSTEM OF TAG DATA WITH RFID MIDDLEWARE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING THE SAME

A security system of tag data through a RFID middleware and a security method thereof are provided to use a low priced RFID tag without operation performance by processing information security authentication by mounting an information security component in the RFID middleware. An RFID tag includes a user memory region storing an encryption code, a PIN, and a public key. The RFID reader serves as the medium reading and connecting the data of the RFID tag. A backend DB stores an encryption code, the PIN, the public key, the RN, and the counter. The RFID middleware includes the information security component. The information security component performs CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Code) operation of the public key and the data of the RFID tag and authenticates the tag by comparing the operation result and the data of the backend DB. The information security component performs the CRC operation of the random number generated in the RFID middleware, the random number of the RFID tag, and the public key, decodes and compares the operation result, and authenticates the reader.
