A HYDROPHILIC CHITOSAN-HYDROPHOBIC LINOLEIC ACID NANOPARTICLES LOADING IRON OXIDE NANOPARTICLES, A PREPARATION METHOD OF THEREOF AND A CONTRAST AGENT FOR DIAGNOSING LIVER DISEASES INCLUDING THE SAME
A water-soluble chitosan-hydrophobic linoleic acid composite of self-assembled nanoparticles with iron oxide nanoparticle embedded therein and a liver disease diagnosing contrast agent comprising the same are provided to copolymerize the water-soluble chitosan and linoleic acid to form an amphoteric polymer which shows excellent self-assembled capability. A water-soluble chitosan-hydrophobic linoleic acid composite indicates self-assembled nanoparticles. A water-soluble chitosan-hydrophobic linoleic acid composite has a core-shell structure, herein the core is made of iron oxide nanoparticles. The iron oxide nanoparticles are surrounded by hydrophobic molecules. The hydrophobic molecules represent oleic acid and oleoyl amine. The molecular weight of the hydrophobic molecules is 1000-250,000 Da. A method for preparing the water-soluble chitosan-hydrophobic linoleic acid composite comprises the following steps of: copolymerizing the water-soluble chitosan and hydrophobic linoleic acid; preparing iron oxide nanoparticles; and embedding the iron oxide nanoparticles in the self-assembled nanoparticles.
