PURPOSE: A refrigerator making the cost-cutting effect and a control method thereof are provided to supply the exact amount of the water to an ice tray regardless of the environment condition.;CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises an ice tray(210), and a water supply sensor(310). A plurality of icing grooves(211) is formed in the ice tray. The water is supplied to a plurality of icing grooves from the ice tray. The water supply sensor senses the full of the icing tray by the conducing with the water delivered at the last. The water supply sensor includes the plural number of the electrode.
