PURPOSE: A method and a system of efficiently amplifying a discrete-amplitude RF pulse train in a high-efficiency linear power amplification system with pulse area modulation are provided to amplify at least two discrete amplitude RF pulse trains in high efficiency by combining two power amplifiers having phase difference. CONSTITUTION: A method of efficiently amplifying a discrete-amplitude RF pulse train in a high-efficiency linear power amplification system with pulse area modulation comprises the steps of: converting an input signal into a discrete amplitude RF pulse train(507); splitting the converted discrete amplitude RF pulse strings into two RF pulse trains(509,514) having uniform amplitudes(509,510); amplifying the two split RF pulse trains; and restoring the input signal by passing the amplified discrete amplified RF pulse trains(516) through a bandpass filter.
