MULTI-OUTPUT DC/DC CONVERTER REDUCING LOSS OF THE POWER DUE TO THE LOSS OF CONDUCTION AND SWITCHING OF A STEP-DOWN CHOPPER CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A multi-output DC/DC converter is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by not requiring a step-down chopper circuit.;CONSTITUTION: A switch(100) switches an input DC power alternatively and converts the DC power to the AC power. A converter(200) has a single transformer. The single transformer alternatively outputs a first power and a second power by transforming the AC power from the switch into the first power and the second power with a voltage level according to a turn ratio. A first rectifier(300) rectifies the first power from the converter and outputs the first DC power. A second rectifier(400) rectifies the second power from the converter and outputs the second DC power by switching the rectified power. A controller is synchronized with the switching of the switch and controls the switching of the second rectifier.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
