PURPOSE: A wedge for an insert clamp and an insert detachable cutter are provided to improve the clamp strength and to prevent the damage and deformation of a cutter main body.;CONSTITUTION: A wedge(10) for an insert clamp and insert detachable cutter are composed of a wedge main body(12), a clamp face(14), and a wedge face(16). The wedge main body has each wedge which is inserted into a cutter main body. The clamp face is formed by being closely contacted to the wedge main body and a cutting insert. The interval between the wedge face and the clamp face gradually becomes narrower so that the wedge face goes toward the insert direction. The outer shape of the wedge face is composed of a convex portion(16A) and a concave curve(16B).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
