PURPOSE: Millimeter wave band radar for airborne application is provided to detect wide area within a short time using a simple electronic switch method for low earth orbit aircrafts.;CONSTITUTION: Millimeter wave band radar for airborne application comprises a transceiver antenna(110), a transmission unit(120), and a receiver(130). The transceiver antenna includes a plurality of waveguide array antennas arranged in a predetermined angle. The transmission unit transmits the frequency-modulated pulse with the millimeter wave band using one of the slotted waveguide array antennas. The receiver uses one of the slotted waveguide array antennas selectively. The receiver down converts the received reflective wave signal, and transforms into digital signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
