PURPOSE: A method for treating dyeing wastewater by using porous polyurethane foam media comprising carbonaceous materials obtained from carbonization of sludge and white-rot fungi is provided to process the dyeing wastewater efficiently, and to offer superior decomposition performance of a non-biodegradable material. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating dyeing wastewater by using porous polyurethane foam media comprising carbonaceous materials obtained from carbonization of sludge and white-rot fungi includes the following steps of: pre-processing the dyeing wastewater in a pre-processing tank with sulfuric acid: acquiring the processed water after decomposing a non-biodegradable material in the wastewater: precipitating the processed water with a flocculant; and discharging the final processed water.
