PURPOSE: A face identifying device and a method thereof, and a method of estimating inner/outer environment change degrees of a face are provided to estimate inner/outer environment changes in real time, thereby performing estimation suitable for a real environment. CONSTITUTION: A face identifying device includes a face detecting unit, a feature extracting unit, an environment change variable calculating unit, a face correcting unit and a feature comparing unit. The environment change variable calculating unit(202) obtains inner/outer environment change variables in a face area normalized by using feature information. The face correcting unit(203) corrects an environment change degree estimated by using inner/outer environment change variables of the face and 3D face data of a corresponding user in a DB. The feature comparing unit(204) obtains an identifying result by comparing face information made by the correction and the feature information extracted by the feature extracting unit.
