PURPOSE: A method for preparing colored rice cake bars containing natural plants is provided to exhibit natural taste, flavor, and color without the use of chemical additives. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing colored rice cake bars comprises the following steps of: preparing one kind of powder or crushed liquid selected from the group consisting of broccoli, sweet pumpkin, purple sweet potato, beet, red pepper, and wormwood; soaking unpolished rice in water for 20-24 hours, polished rice for 6-8 hours, adding roasted salt to it, pulverizing them, adding 1~1.2L water to them, and re-pulverizing them; placing the rice powder in a steamer and steaming for 30-40 minutes; adding the prepared one kind of powder of crushed liquid to the obtained rice cake; and extruding the rice cake into rice cake bars.
