PURPOSE: A method for preparing natural fiber/recycled polyethylene composites is provided to improve mechanical and thermal properties using a biaxial extruder and compression molding machine.;CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing natural fiber/recycled polyethylene composites comprises the following steps of: pelletizing rice straw and recycled polyethylene to a pellet size of 2-7mm; mixing the pellets at the temperature of 120-220°C using a biaxial extruder; processing the mixture at the temperature of 120-220°C using a hot press; fusing the mixture at the temperature of 120-220°C for 30-70 minutes; and leaving it to stand for 5-60 minutes and cooling off to the room temperature.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
