PURPOSE: An automatic settlement system using a bill scanner is provided to carry out the automatic computation and payment and to prevent an error by transmitting the information about the cost of an item.;CONSTITUTION: The scanner(10) scans the statement of account in which the cost and consumption of an item are checked in a calculation. The credit card terminal(20) or the point of sales terminal(30) is connected to a calculation scanner through USB or the RS232 serial communication port. The credit card terminal or the point of sales terminal receives data of calculation. The credit card terminal or the point of sales terminal signs on a screen by automatically calculating data.
