PURPOSE: An apparatus for stress shot-peening of a coil spring is provided to shot-peen evenly the surface of a side-rod type coil spring of various types by rotating between spring clamping units and transporting them into the shot-room simultaneously.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for stress shot-peening of a coil spring a pair of bucket conveyer(11), a shot room(10), a separator(13), a plurality of impellers(14), a pair of conveyor vertical moving units(15), a spring input conveyer(16a), a spring discharge conveyor(16b), a pair of longitudinal gap regulating units, a pair of clamping unit revolving chain(18), a sprocket driving unit(19), a pair of spring clamping units(20), and a pair of clamping unit revolving chain. The clamping unit rotating chain is installed on the top of the longitudinal gap adjusting unit. The clamping unit is revolved by the drive sprocket. The spring clamping units are mounted at regular interval in the clamping unit revolving chain. The clamping unit revolving chain meshes with the center of a plurality of spring clamping units.
