FRONT END LOWER REINFORCEMENT WITH MAXIMIZED PROTECTION FUNCTION AND AN AUTOMOBILE THEREOF, CAPABLE OF PROTECTING A PEDESTRIAN AND A DRIVER BY EFFECTIVELY ABSORBING CRASH ENERGY DUE TO LOW SPEED COLLISION
PURPOSE: A front end lower reinforcement with maximized protection function and an automobile thereof are provided to protect a pedestrian and a driver by distributing impact energy to a crash box by dividing a front lower reinforcement into a transverse reinforcing bar and a rear crash box.;CONSTITUTION: A front end lower reinforcement with maximized protection function is divided into three pieces including one transverse reinforcing bar(30) and two rear crash boxes(40). The front contour of the transverse reinforcing bar crosses the vehicle along the contour of a bumper. The transverse reinforcing bar absorbs the crash at the front. Two rear crash boxes support both ends rear side of the transverse reinforcing bar. The rear crash box is combined with the front surface body. The rear crash box absorbs the front impact delivered from the transverse reinforcing bar. The rear crash box includes a deformation guide part(42). The deformation guide unit gets more easily distorted for the improvement of the shock absorption rate according to the front impact than other portions of the rear crash box.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
