A method for inducing protocorm like body (PLB) from the Phalaenopsis plantlet, and the Phalaenopsis protocorm like body prepared by the method are provided to allow the clone plantlet to be proliferated massively and continuously. A method for inducing protocorm like body from the Phalaenopsis plantlet comprises the steps of cutting the fibrous part containing the growing point of leaves, stem, root or base part of the Phalaenopsis plantlet; culturing the cut part on the protocorm like body-inducing culture medium containing gellite; and inducing the protocorm like body from the cultured part of the culture medium.
