Provided is an expression vector of a recombinant protein which uses malate dehydrogenase as a fusion partner to improve a water solubility property of the recombinant protein. An expression vector for manufacturing a recombinant protein comprises a malate dehydrogenase gene and a heterologous protein gene. A method for manufacturing the recombinant protein consists of the following steps of: manufacturing the expression vector by connecting the malate dehydrogenase gene and the heterologous protein gene; manufacturing a transformant by employing the expression vector to a host cell; and inducing expression of the recombinant protein by cultivating the transformant.
