A complex generator using a thermoelectric element and a solar cell is provided to obtain electric energy conversion efficiency above 15 % by using light-electricity conversion efficiency for photovoltaic power generation and heat-electricity conversion efficiency for solar thermal power generation. A sunlight collecting unit(10) includes a solar cell for photovoltaic power generation and a collecting lens(120) for converging the light. The solar cell and the collecting lens are arranged in a first plate(130). The solar heat generating unit(20) includes a collecting board with a protrusion(212), a thermoelectric element(220) converting the heat into electricity, and a discharging plate(240) discharging the lost heat to the outside. The protrusion distributes the heat with high temperature to the thermoelectric element uniformly by converting the light passing through the collecting lens to the heat. The thermoelectric element and the heat discharging plate are separated by a third plate(230). The thermoelectric element obtains electric energy by a seebeck effect.
