A method for welding a metallic plate material extrusion-rolled mash seam, and a welding device thereof are provided to weld the metallic plate material extrusion-rolled mash seam uniformly without changing thickness thereof. A method for welding a metallic plate material extrusion-rolled mash seam includes a step of passing a folded surface of a side edge of two metallic plate materials which thicknesses are same or different, through a surface grinding roller and removing a foreign material and an oxide film on a metallic surface; a step of inserting the metallic plate material(1) folded and constrained by a guide roller, into a plain plate electrode roller(4); a step of resistance-heating the metallic plate material folded by the upper and lower plain plate electrode rollers arranged by a pair thereof continually at a vertical direction of a folded surface, and combining a side end of the folded metallic plate material by strong roll-forming extruding pressure as a roll interval of the plain plate electrode roller is decreased; a step of roll-forming and extruding an excessive metal(16) pushed by an excessive metal roll-forming and extruding roller(5) positioned vertically to the plain plate electrode roller, by strong pressure; a step of forming a sealed space by the rollers and discharging the foreign material and the oxide film of the side surface of the metallic plate material to an outside of the surface by a mutual operation of the plain plate electrode roller and the excessive metal roll-forming and extruding roller; and a step of short-circuiting a triangular excessive metal roll-formed and extruded by a conical roll-forming and extruding roller, automatically from a metallic surface.
