A solid electrolyte containing the polymer nano fiber and a dye sensitized solar cell using the same are provided to increase the lifespan of device by replacing the liquid electrolyte and semi-solid electrolyte with the solid electrolyte. The solid electrolyte comprises the polymeric fiber. The polymeric fiber has the diameter of nano-size by using the electricity spinning. The dye sensitized solar cell comprises the first and second substrates(101,106), the first electrode(102), the second electrode(105) and the solid electrolyte(104). The first and second substrates are arranged to face each other. The first and second electrodes are arranged between the first and second substrates. The first electrode has an inorganic material oxide layer(103) and a dye layer. The second electrode is electrically connected with the first electrode while facing the first electrode. The solid electrolyte is arranged between the first and second electrodes.
