METHOD FOR FILTERING SPAM SHORT MESSAGE OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for interrupting spam short messages in a mobile terminal is provided to interrupt a short message containing a specific word, previously appointed by a user, according to a desired handling method. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal user inputs and sets a specific word to be interrupted, interruption levels for indicating the interruption degrees of short messages, and handling methods for dealing with short messages to be interrupted(S11,S12). If a short message is received(S13), the mobile terminal checks how often the specific word has been used in the received message and determines whether the received message is to be interrupted, based on the interruption levels(S14). In case that it is judged that the received short message is a spam message, the mobile terminal processes it according to a preset handling method(S15).
