A method for providing a coupon by using a search engine and a search server are provided to easily check a coupon with regard to a product or a service and quickly supply the coupon to a user searching the product or the service through a search word. A user input receiving unit(110) receives user input transmitted from a user terminal. The user input receiving unit determines a kind of the user input. A search engine(160) is associatedly operated with a search word identifying unit(130). The search engine collects information related to a search word from a web document DB(191) or an advertisement information DB(192) correspondingly to a search word received from the search word identifying unit. A search result page generator(170) operates associatedly with the search engine. A coupon providing unit(180) associatedly operates with a coupon information identification unit(140). If a coupon use request is received from a user, the coupon providing unit provides a generated coupon to the user.
