A septic tank of a putrefaction type to be buried horizontally is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and manufacturing manpower by preventing movement of a diaphragm. A manufacturing method of a septic tank(1) of a putrefaction type to be buried horizontally comprises the following steps of: forming space(13) for a manhole and a penetration hole on one side of wall in a first main body(101); forming the penetration hole on one side of wall in a second main body(102); forming a container(19) in the second body and fixing a side wall of the second main body and the container; forming a diaphragm(14) on the second main body and adhering inside wall of the second main body and the diaphragm; making a base sewage disposal tank by welding an opening unit of the first main body and the second main body; attaching a manhole(18) on the base sewage disposal tank; and inserting an excrements inlet tube(16) into the first main body and inserting a drainpipe(17) into the second main body.
