METHOD OF LIMITING CONNECTION NUMBER AT THE SAME TIME AND AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM

A method of limiting concurrent connection number and an authentication system are provided to limit an access of a user depending on the number of concurrent connections. An authentication device transmits a received authentication request message to an authentication server(202). The authentication server performs authentication by comparing the authentication information included in the authentication request message with the authentication information of the authorized user in the database(204). According to the session number request, the authentication device transmits the session number about user with the authentication server. The authentication server checks whether the connection number recorded in the authorized user information in database and the session number which the authentication device transmits are identical or not. The authentication notifies an authentication success to the authentication device, if the number of connection is less than the predetermines number(208). The authentication device forms a session about the user terminal transmitting the authentication request message(216).
