PURPOSE: A method and system for classifying documents using classification information of query are provided to determine the intention of the user reflected to a query exactly and easily. CONSTITUTION: A method for classifying documents using classification information of query includes the step of maintaining the query database(310) which is stored by matching the individual category information of a query with the corresponding query; the step of determining the individual category information of the corresponding query as the individual category information of the word in case the query corresponding to the word included in the object of classification document is included in the query database; the step of producing the category information of the object of classification document.
