FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical analysis of non-biological materials by titration in presence of chemical indicators. Method consists in the following: water solution of investigated sample is titrated with 0.1 N water solution of sodium hydroxide in presence of phenolphtalein as indicator until stable bright-pink colouring is obtained, in similar conditions idle experiment is carried out, and in both cases volume of sodium hydroxide spent on solution titration is recorded, and weight part of main substance is calculated from ratio: where: M is weight part of main substance of methylphosphonic acid, %; q is sample of methylphosphonic acid, g; V1 is volume of 0.1 N solution of sodium hydroxide, spent on titration of methylphosphonic acid sample, cm3; V2 is volume of 0.1 N solution of sodium hydroxide, spent on titration in control (idle) experiment, cm3; K1 is correction factor to titre of sodium hydroxide solution, K1=1 when standard-titre is used; K2 - 0.0048011 -amount of methylphosphonic acid, equivalent to 1 cm3 of 0.1 N sodium hydroxide solution.;EFFECT: analysis reliability and simplification are achieved.;2 cl, 1 tbl
