FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an agent representing 5-amino-6-methyluracil of formulas (1) which exhibit antioxidant activity and to a method for preparing thereof. The agent can be used in medicine for preparing a drug capable to inhibit lipid peroxidation processes and to activate restorative processes in chemical intoxications.
