FIELD: engines and pumps.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engine development and can be used in producing adapter nozzles made from carbon-carbonaceous composite material (CCCM) for the nozzles of liquid-propellant rockets engines (LPRE) operated under conditions of simultaneous oxidising attack on both surfaces of the nozzle, i.e. high-temperature oxidising gas medium on the working (internal) surface and air on its outer surface. The proposed method comprises producing a specimen, testing by subjecting to high-temperature oxidising gas medium effect, determining the composite material and coat loss. Note here that the specimen is cut out in the form of a plates from adapter nozzle fitting allowance, and the testing is performed so that the plate one side is blown over by high-temperature gas flow till the nozzle actual operating temperature and the other side of the said plate is blown over with oxidising medium ,e.g. air or a mix of oxygen with inert gas at a required ratio.;EFFECT: higher reliability of CCCM and protective coat anti-oxidant property determination.;4 dwg
