After presentation of light flickers with initial frequency, show serially reduced initial - decrement and enlarged initial - incremental frequencies with the set constant period to the examinee, a difference between which be changed until the examinee determines a threshold of a distinction zone of light flickers shown frequencies. At the first stage of measurements with constant rate about 2 Hz/s enlarge a difference between shown frequencies until the examinee determines supraliminal value of the distinction zone of decrement and incremental frequencies. At the second stage of measurements reduce the difference between shown frequencies of the light flickers, fixed on the first stage of measurements discretely with step of 0.3 Hz, until the examinee determines subliminal value of the distinction zone of shown frequencies. At the third stage of measurements enlarge the difference between shown frequencies of the light flickers, fixed on the second stage of measurements discretely with step of 0.1 Hz, until the examinee determines threshold value of the zone of decrement and incremental frequencies distinction. A strip of distinction of light parts ΔF in Hz is calculated under the formula: where Ti and Td - the periods of light flickers in ms, corresponding incremental and decrement frequencies fixed at the third stage of measurements.;EFFECT: invention allows reducing an error of measurements, thereby to enlarge their accuracy.;1 ex
