FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fat-and-oil industry. Test subject is flax seed extract produced from flax grinded to particle size 0.01-0.5 mm, mixed with phosphate buffer of pH=7.5 in ratio 1:10 within 1 hour 30 minutes. Then filtrate that is flax extract, is centrifuged at rotor speed 6000 min-1 within 30 minutes to be separated. Extract is analysed, therefore a measuring cell is filled with 0.1 ml extract, 0.4 ml phosphate buffer (pH=7.5), 0.4 ml ferric sulphate (II) solution, 0.2 ml hydrogen peroxide. Herewith kinetic curve slope is considered to describe stopping power of the same product. The greater maximum chemoluminescence intensity is, the more free radicals are in flax seed.;EFFECT: possibility to develop more exact and express method ensuring timely detection of processes causing flax seed damage in storage.;1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
