Method for thermal processing of adobe bricks granules includes swelling of adobe brick granules in rotary furnace at efficient temperature in presence of powdery separating medium at ratio of separating medium and adobe granules of less than 1:1, but not less than 1:2 in volume. Adobe granules are used, which are produced from crushed basaltic andesite of Baranovskoe deposit with the following chemical composition (wt %): SiO2 - 55.6-60.84; TiO2 - 1.65-2.27; Al2O3 -13.97-16.26; Fe2O3 - 0.99-3.61; FeO - 3.98-6.89; CaO - 3.63-5.19; MgO - 2.11-4.22; MnO - 0.07-0.10; P2O5 - 0.22-0.44; K2O - 3.00-4.33; Na2O - 2.66-3.45; LoI (loss on ignition) - 0.41-2.56, with addition of at least sodium hydroxide solution in efficient amount.;EFFECT: reduced amount of powdery separating medium, reduced power inputs in production of granulated fillers.;11 cl
