Trophic ulcer area and extent are considered together and equated to a coefficient calculated by formula: where K_t is a complex coefficient as of the current days, V_t is an ulcer extent as of the current examination day, V_t-1 is an ulcer extent as of the previous examination day, V_t-1-V_t is a difference of the ulcer extents for the period observed, S_t is an ulcer area as of the current examination day, S_t-1 is an ulcer area as of the previous examination day, S_t-1-S_t is a difference of the ulcer areas for the period observed.
