METHOD OF FUNCTIONAL REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS UNDERWENT OPERATIONS OF LOCALLY ADVANCED MOUTH FLOOR AND MANDIBLE TUMOURS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and can be applied for functional rehabilitation of the patients underwent operations of locally advanced mouth floor and mandible tumours in stepped therapy. In delimitation of the prospective maxillectomy, a stone model is used to find the points identical to those for which surface displacement in three-dimensional model "3D-model" has been calculated with using computer simulation technique. The stone model is predrilled in the specified points completely perpendicularly to the surface. The surface of the stone mandible is turned according to printouts of three-dimensional model "3D-model" thereby preparing a bed for a prospective immediate prosthesis to be made and placed onto a prosthetic field to form the optimal prosthetic bed directly after operation within 14-21 days.;EFFECT: method allows reducing risk of recurrent tumour and rehabilitation time.;21 dwg
