EXPERIMENTAL COMPLEX FOR MODELLING OF FOREST, STEPPE AND PEAT FIRE

FIELD: fire safety.;SUBSTANCE: experimental complex can be applied for studying processes of ignition and burning of vegetable combustible materials (VCM), including elements of trees crowns, soil cover and peat, as well as for development of methods and means for firefighting. Experimental complex contains rotary relative to horizon table, on which placed are box-polygon for VCM, box-polygon with waterproof bottom for peat and multifunctional device of ignition with movable high-resistance heat sources, which imitates various natural initiators of burning. In case of VCM ignition signal of flame detector starts system of collection and processing of information. Experimental complex is equipped with aerodynamic pipe with regulated air flow to 5 m/s and unit of VCM samples preparation with express-analysis of moisture-content. Experimental complex allows carrying out experiments in automated mode, obtained information is processed by computer.;EFFECT: invention provides extention of functional possibilities of device and increase of fire researching efficiency.;5 cl, 5 dwg
