FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: method for automatic control of technological residual stress in surface plastic deformation includes strain-gauging of elastic deformations by strain sensors installed in elastic elements joined to each other along conical surface, which are installed between deforming element of tool. Besides strain gages are installed along diametre of external elastic element in mutually perpendicular directions, and strain sensors are additionally installed at the end of elastic element.;EFFECT: provision of stable residual stress in surface plastic deformation by means of burnishing due to control of radial contact pressure in process of finishing.;1 dwg
