METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INSPECTING NARCOTIC DRUGS, HIDDEN IN LIQUIDS

FIELD: physics.;SUBSTANCE: radiation is generated and transmitted through the liquid. The transmitted radiation is picked up for collecting polygonal projection data. Polygonal projection data is manipulated based on homogeneity of the liquid in order to obtain an attribute value of the inspected liquid. The standard attribute value is extracted from a database using identification information of the liquid as an index. The difference between the calculated attribute value and the standard attribute value is calculated and if this difference exceeds a predefined threshold value, narcotic drugs are hidden in the liquid. The attribute value is a relative linear attenuation coefficient.;EFFECT: provision for fast detection of narcotic drugs in liquids without destroying package.;16 cl, 5 dwg, 2 ex
