DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE CONSUMPTION OF GAS TO CNG

Apparatus for measuring gas consumption for CNG relates to measuring equipment and is intended for measuring the flow of natural gas in compressed NGV filling stations (CNG) during filling of LPG equipment vehicles with compressed natural gas.; Apparatus for measuring gas flow determines the flow rate of gas passing through its measuring chamber and a part of the gas metering system for CNG. The device eliminates the drawbacks affecting the accuracy of measurement of gas flow parameters at the minimum section, namely, it contributes to the optimal pressure drop across the measurement site a static pressure which is necessary to improve the accuracy of gas flow rate estimation on CNG. The optimum differential pressure in the measuring chamber creates two washers, one of which defines a minimum cross-section, similar to tube "Venturi", while the second produces the desired pressure drop for the established first washer.
