Piezoelectric actuator (1) for a fuel - injection valve, with pretensioning, in an actuator housing is introduced, whereby between the piezoelectric actuator (1) and a head plate (5) of the actuator housing, a compensating element to compensate for the different thermal change in length of the piezoelectric actuator (1) is arranged with respect to the actuator housing,characterized in that– the piezoelectric actuator (1) within a bourdon tube spring (3) is arranged,– the compensating element than inside of an extension tube (6) is arranged in a compensating cylinder (2) is designed,– the actuator housing one of the bourdon tube spring (3) and the extension pipe (6) is fixedly connected to existing sleeve (3, 6), the extension pipe since pure end fixedly connected to the head plate (5) and the tube spring since pure end, by applying a defined prestress on the inside of the sleeve (3, 6) arranged axially one behind the parts (1, 7, 2), fixedly with a base plate (4) of the actuator housing (4, 3, 6, 5) is connected.
