A fuel-cell comprises at least one membrane-electrode-arrangement (MEA) with a porous gas-diffusion layer (GDL) and a separator plate, where the separator plate on the GDL-side has a flow-field with fluid supply channels for distribution of a fluid along the GDL. The GDL has, at least sectionally, a smaller fluidic perviousness in a region on a web/bridge which separates two adjacent segments of an outer-lying zone from one another, than in the remaining regions of the GDL. Independent claims are included for the following. (1) (A) A separator plate for a fuel cell. (2) (B) A method for fabricating a fuel cell.
