The motor vehicle has a communication connector (13) i.e. data line (3), provided between change speed gearbox controllers (8, 12), where the data line is utilized as a drive train controlled area network-bus. The communication connector ensures transmission of reference values to the change speed gearbox controller (12). The transmission of the reference values is implemented alternatively by the change speed gearbox controllers at a change speed gearbox for signaling a switching process, or partially by the change speed gearbox controllers.
