The actuator (1) has an overriding drive (4) i.e. harmonic drive, with two gear input shafts (2, 3) and a gear output shaft (5). The shaft (2) is connected with a steering handle (6), and the shaft (3) is connected with an electronically commutating servo motor (7). A rotation angle sensor (8) measures a rotation angle of one of the shafts or a rotor position of a rotor (9). The sensor is formed with a sensor bearing (10) or a two-pole magnet wheel, which is scanned by hall elements arranged displaceably to each other, or with a resolver. The sensor is protruded from one of the shafts.
