The hand rest device (100) has a hand rest (101), which is flexibly adjusted at a shaft. An upper hinge plate (110,110') with an upper surface and a lower surface is provided in the area of the lower surface of the shaft. A lower hinge plate (120,120') is indirectly fastened on the surface of the hand rest adjacent to the shaft. A side of chain link (130,130') is pivoted flexibly detachable at an upper hinge plate. Another side of chain link is pivoted flexibly detached at one of the upper hinge plate assigned to lower hinge plate.
