Adhering labels on hollow containers from plastic, paper or metal comprises completely or partially coating the label with a melt adhesive; adhering the coated label on the container; and filling the container with a filling material before or after the adhering process; where: the container exhibits an increased circumference through the filling material; and an elastic and thermoplastic melt is applied on the basis of ethylene vinylacetate copolymers. An independent claim is included for the melt adhesive for adhering labels on hollow containers of plastic comprising 5-50 wt.% of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers with a vinylacetate content of 15-35%, 1-10 wt.% of low molecular polyolefin-(co)polymer, 1-15 wt.% of paraffin or micro crystalline wax, 10-60 wt.% of at least a resin, 1-35 wt.% of at least a plasticizer on the basis of mineral oils, and up to 15 wt.% of additives.
